Contributions Augment the Fee Charged to Riders

Our fee to riders is $45 a session, which is less than one-half of our cost of therapeutic riding.  The remainder of our cost of running the program as well as scholarship funds are raised through our special events and other contributions.  Donations can be made through various fundraising events or anytime throughout the year by calling or writing us.  New Heights accepts both financial and in-kind donations.

Scholarship Partners Program

Our Scholarship Partners Program provides scholarships for our riders.  Donors who give a total of $5,000 or more annually are our Grand Champion Scholarship Partners.  Those who give at total of $2,500 - $4,999 annually are our Matching Scholarship Partners.  Gifts given as a sponsor for one of our fund-raising events, i.e.: The Garden Party or the New Heights Golf Classic are eligible towards becoming a Scholarship Partner.

In-kind donations:

        Horses - not all horses make good therapeutic riding horses.  We will be glad to

        evaluate any potential horse donation in St. Tammany and neighboring parishes.
